Bookings for courses: - the process
1) Type of course, dates, times, number of hours and travel arrangements agreed.

2) Your course booking is not secured until either the flights are booked by you or a 20% deposit is paid – receipt on request.

3) Flight details or deposit received – course date is then confirmed and booked in.

4) A draft overview of the course with facilities and equipment required will be sent to you for feedback/ discussion / adjustment.

5) Final program overview sent to you – to be used for promotion and sent to those attending.

6) Payment is required at the end of the course, invoice and receipt available.

7) Cancellation – notice within more than 10 days half of the agreed fee payable. Less than 10 days notice three quarters of the agreed fee payable.

Booking for Private and Group Lessons:-
1) Times and venue confirmed by telephone, fax, email, website or face to face.

2) Cancellation within less than 24 hours full fee required – weather and illness of horse and rider excluded

3) Payment required at the end of each session or prior for 6 pre paid sessions.

Please note: - the time booked is the time the lesson starts. Please make sure you and your horse are warmed up and ready to go by that time – thank you. This will enable me to be on time for other sessions I have that day.

Health and Safety: - Equestrian sport is a high risk sport and safety awareness is important at all times. I will do my utmost to promote as safe an environment as possible but will not accept responsibility for riders, their horses, their support people, poor equipment or unsafe facilities.

I strongly recommend the use of body protectors and an approved standard riding helmet particularly for faster work, jumping, or beginner riders. Should you wish to ride without a helmet you will need to sign a disclaimer before the lesson starts.

It is important that you tell me about any health issues – allergies, injuries, illnesses or disabilities you or your horse has before we work together.

I will not be able to coach riders if their footwear is not suitable and/or the stirrups do not safely fit the rider’s foot or if the saddlery is not safe and well fitting or the horse is in poor or unfit condition. I will happily advise you on how to remedy any of these situations.

Applying for Funding: - If you are applying for funding for any of my courses or lessons I am happy to provide a written or verbal report to support your application.
