Words do not do justice to the appreciation I feel for all your gentle guidance that has vastly improved our ‘way of going’ and understanding of each other. A Coaches ViewpointStop Press News!!5 new article epically for coaches view now 1.Equestrian Instructor, Coach, or Mentor what's the difference and does it matter? 2. Are you getting the best out of your coaching sessions? 3. How is your training and competing programme going? 4.Evaluating your coaching 5. Training to be an Equestrian Coach in New Zealand - what are the options? Jeanette's Coaching Comment:-If you are a registered Equestrian Sport New Zealand Coach you should have received your copy of 'Seek' a magazine just for coaches. It has many interesting articles about coaching from across the sports codes. Here is a comment that I particularly like"Coaches are not there to show or tell players (JAG riders) what they know, they are there to create environments for learning that challenge the players (JAG horses and riders) but also give them enjoyment, security and support..... giving them choice and ownership allowing them to practise and experiment.." Great Ah!! This was from an article by John Allpass FA coach for the under 16 in UK. Contact Jeanette if you have a question or a topic you would like to see here Jeanette is highly qualified as an equestrian coach and as an adult eduction teacher and is current involved with training and assessing equestrian coaches for The New Zealand Pony Club Ass. and a National assessor for the Equine Industry Training Organisation.
