New Equestrain Sport Training For YouPress release from Jeanette Jeanette shows Anne Stevens and her horse Ambrose the new training package Equestrian Sport New Zealand in conjunction with SPARC have launched a new training program in line with other top NZ sports.Equestrian Coach Jeanette Garrett (Brightwater) has just returned from The NZ Academy of Sport in Christchurch having been invited to become an ‘Equestrian Educator’ for this new program.Jeanette says “This training program has been long awaited and will enable riders to start their training from 12 years of age through to adulthood with introductory and development levels in horse care, riding and coaching through to high performance riders and coaches”. “My role will be to facilitate the learning journey for those that enroll. It has a flexible and student driven philosophy. I am really excited and very optimistic about the opportunities it will give our equestrians and I am delighted to be asked to be involved." Jeanette can work with riders throughout New Zealand but will mainly cover an area from Christchurch, through to the bottom half of the north island.
