Course TutorHorse and Pony Course Tutor - Sharyn Fitzsimmons Sharyn Fitzsimmons has a lifetime of experience with horses, dogs, cats and farm animals and holds a New Zealand equestrian coaching qualification. She has coached at pony clubs and worked as part of a team to develop a horse trek business. In more recent years she has been a tutor for equine industry based qualifications - Introductory skills level 2 and Stable Practice level 3 (sport horse strand ) teaching riding, lungeing, conformation and movement of horses and equine travel. Sharyn has two horses at present, 3 dogs and 3 cats (Burmese). Her older horse Impy (short for Quadro Simply Impressive) on which she competed in dressage, showing and jumping and represented her Riding club 3 times at the South Island Teams Event ( winning team all 3), and a new horse, The Marvelous Maverick, a 5 year old station bred, which she is enjoying bringing on and hopes will be a good allrounder. Sharyn enjoys helping people and the challenge of finding ways to make a learning experience fun. |
