" This has to be my favourite show jumping book. It has diagrams of jump exercises which show progression to build confidence and ability of both horse and rider. Excellent explanations of the purpose of the exercise with key points as to 'How do I ride this?' and double checks as reminders before you ride them.

The illustrations of top international competitors are a fascination to study.
I particularly like Exercise 27 and use it often when coaching jumping. It is effective for developing the riders 'feel' for canter lead legs, balance and rhythm

This book would be suitable for those new to jumping with a coaches support right through to those that are out there competing at all levels.

I use this book as a reference when coaching jumping and recommend it to both riders and coaches as a great 'learning tool'.
