under pressure. It presents a model of the mind and
body working together, leading to a cohesive set of
mind-management strategies.The book aims to assist
athletes, teams and coaches to understand the
‘mental’ in performance and to develop discipline
and skills to help them to excel.

About the Author - DR GARY HERMANSSON has an extensive background in performance and counselling psychology and vast experience working with athletes, teams and coaches. He has been New Zealand Team Psychologist at
numerous Commonwealth and Olympic Games, for the NZ Equestrian
Team at the World Equestrian Games, and with the NZ (Black Caps)
Cricket Team over several Tours.
