“Thank you again for all that you have done for Precious and I. Words do not do justice to the appreciation I feel for all your gentle guidance that has vastly improved our ‘way of going’ and understanding of each other. You have been pivotal to us making a large quantum leap in the last year.”

Training Packages Shared 2 Riders (Pay As You Go Option)
A rider form 'Talkinghorses' using a training package
The objectiveof these training packages is to provide riders with a supportive, progressive pathway to improving the relationship with their horse and to provide them with an easy to understand, comprehensive, step by step training methods to apply to their particular situation.
Every package includes a start up session lasting up to one and a half hours at the reduced rate of only $50. This important session includes an assessment of you and your horse and what you want to achieve, for example – you may just wish to have a more supple and calmer horse to ride out or you may be focused on serious competition achievements in either dressage, show jumping or eventing. Time to sit down and discuss your individual needs is an important part of the training pathway. Some time will be spent working with you and your horse and assessment form and photo’s can be included if you wish. This has proved a great success in the past – giving you vital visual feedback at the beginning of your package. More photos will be taken as you progress through your 6 training sessions with Jeanette.
Private sessions are ideal but shared and group sessions are available and encouraged - not only is this cost effective you are able to learn from each other and share the progress with a like minded riding friends.
Booking your six sessions is easy and flexible although too much time between sessions will slow your progress – however you need to timetable some practice sessions with your horse between coached sessions to get the full benefits. Once signed up for a package you can book all 6 sessions or book your next session one ahead. Jeanette recommends “If cost is an issue save up and have a session every fortnight for twelve weeks or once a calendar month. Like any training program if progress is to be made commitment to practice is needed to gain full benefits!”
Fees and payment foreach package of six sessions has flexible payment arrangements – pre payment reduction, deposit or pay as you go.
Shared sessions (2 riders)
Pay as you go $30 each rider = $180/rider total payment
Pay in advance for all six sessions = $160/rider
Travel cost the first 40 kms from Brightwater are free!!! For example sessions at RoughIsland have no travel cost. After 40 kms 50 cents per kms is charged. This cost can often be shared with other riders that Jeanette is teaching at the same venue or close by. “I will always try to coordinate this wherever I can.”
Supporting learning material is being developed by Jeanette via her Horses and Ponies Correspondence Course, and DVD,
And her new ‘FOCUS’ Series - Focus on :-Show Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Training of Horse and Rider on the Lunge and Horse Care and Management. I will also recommend books, DVD’s and video’s appropriate for you and your horse. “ Riding and caring for your horse is very much a practical ‘doing’ thing, havinglearning material to read or view gives you another prospective for your learning – the eye is the window to understanding, reading and watching provides yet another avenue to help you make great progress.”
